Apple retail shops expect to be inundated with fanatic iPad shoppers, as the iPad is officially released to Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom today.

 

In an attempt to encourage more shoppers to buy books from Australian online stores, Borders online bookstore is guaranteeing to price match Amazon.
