About Us
Online Shopping Australia is a blog guide to online stores in Australia, created by myself, Luke Cliff, and James Murphy. It all started in October 2007, when we began blogging about a broad range of online stores, and the products they sell.
The goal is to publish regular articles about online stores in Australia, and also maintain a safe online shopping directory, containing a list of stores that have been personally verified by James and I, using our own safe online shopping guidelines.
We shop online just like you do, so we let you know which stores we've purchased products from. Online Shopping Australia.com.au is also planning to add a star ratings and reviews of the online shopping experiences, from ordering online through to delivery.
We choose the stores that are blogged about at Online Shopping Australia, and also choose the stores that are listed in our online shopping directory. We can't do all this hard work for free of course, so we use a combination of Google AdSense and sponsored links to fund the site.
FingerTap Apps Pty Ltd is the official company name, and right now it's just myself wearing lots of different hats! I am the director of the company, and my main focus is on web development, and publishing shopping updates. Another hat I wear, is iPhone Application development at the FingerTap Apps web site. James has also done a lot of shopping updates in the past, but has since moved on from doing publications except for the occassional special event.
I live and work in Noosa on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland - the aim is to have a perfect work/life balance of course, but in reality I still spend far too much time sitting at a computer!
