Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals Begin

The two biggest online shopping days of the year are still about 3 weeks away, but Amazon.com is already dishing out the deals in its Black Friday countdown event.

The day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday marks the start of the holiday shopping season in the US, and this year the bargain shopping party begins on November 25. In recent years Black Friday has become an international phenomenon, and Australian shoppers now get to join the party too, with many local online retailers offering great product deals, sales, and promotions.

The discounting continues on November 28 with Cyber Monday. Originally created by businesses to encourage people to shop online after Thanksgiving, Cyber Monday has become a bargain shoppers paradise, with the majority of online retailers slashing their prices to increase sales.

Over at Amazon.com the deals have started early, with low prices on electronics, movies, video games, toys, fashion, books, sporting goods, and more. Some items are not available for overseas shipping, but there are still millions of products for Australian shoppers to buy online.

Altogether they’ll be bargains galore at the Amazon US store for about 2 weeks, with Black Friday Deals Week starting on November 20, followed by Cyber Monday Deals Week.

The Amazon UK store will be joining the Black Friday Deals Week party too, and they also have a free delivery offer for Australian shoppers.
