Designed by an Aussie accounting student, this USB device feels much the same as a normal house key, but it packs a punch with fast file transfers & great looks.

Aussie Designed USB Keyring is Fast & Looks Great

I've been looking around for a compact USB device for a while now. Something to store a few recommended software products downloaded from the Internet. So when I visited Flashkey.com.au, and bought a 4GB key shaped device, I was pleased with the price and knocked over by the file transfer speed.

The USB key device was designed and developed by an Australian accounting student Adam Federenko, after he had lost important work by loosing one USB device, and having another one fail. The USB drives come in a range of 3 different key shapes, all of which have been made using 'A' grade internal components.

This small device is actually smaller than most of the keys on my keyring, and looks great with it's scratch and water resistant stainless steel finish. I bought the Model 8 Flashkey (pictured right) for $25, which surprised me as it's a very cheap price for a USB key drive.

When I asked Mr Federenko about how he kept the price down, he said, "In terms of keeping the price down, well that's the easy part; just don't overcharge! Flashkey is not a business where its goal is to generate profits, its here to reduce headache and to add a bit a class to something you use everyday!"

I've had a few different USB key devices over the past few years, and this key shaped USB device adds nothing in the way of extra carrying space, when compared to the other USB sticks. It works well my Mac, and has already been put to good use on a Windows XP computer.
