Cheaper Wii

For the first time in Australia, Nintendo have cut the suggested retail price of the Nintendo Wii.

Last week Nintendo announced that the Nintendo Wii range will receive a price drop in Australia and New Zealand of $100, from $AU399.95 to $AU299.95. I'm still sitting on the fence to buy a Nintendo Wii, and this is great news.

Wii comes in white, and the recently released sleek black version. Both these consoles also come packaged with the Wii Sports game.

This is the first official price drop the Nintendo Wii has seen since it launched back in 2006. When I see price cuts like this, I often wonder of the manufacturer has a reason for the change. Of course we can all speculate about a new game console about to be released, but lets just wait for some news.
