Big Brown Box Makes Browsing Easy

Last week on the 15th April, Big brown box sent out a message through the twitter sphere detailing the new look web site. We've taken a quick look, and think it's much better for browsing shoppers.

Big Brown Box - Before

Big Brown Box have certainly come a long way since opening the store, and last week we watched them change the look of the web site for the better. Gone are the complicated cluttered, left and top menu systems, replaced with a single top menu with drop down menus for sub categories.

The new look gives a much easier way to search and browse the online store, the "Add to Cart" buttons, prices and the amount of money your saving are all big and easy to read.

Something I like, is that you can also refine the search results from the left side, with a great sliding bar for price range for categories, and selection boxes for brand names, product colours, memory sizes to name a few, depending on the type of product your browsing.

I think the navigation is much better than before, and I think the green and orange colour scheme works well too, although I'm not sure what the red colour on some product prices meant.

The change is not a huge difference, but enough to make the shopping experience easier with minimal fuss. You can make up your on mind on the changes by following the link below:
