TiVo's New Remote Control

If you have a TiVo at home, you know it's hard to see the remote control buttons when you're in the middle of watching a movie and the lights are dim. Those days are numbered with the release of a new TiVo 'Glo Premium' backlit remote control.

Now, with a very nice black gloss finish, and chrome rims, you can light-up your living room with the backlit remote control when you dim the lights.

The remote features backlit keys that light up in a darkened room, smart learning capability to control power, input, volume, and mute on your TV and audio visual receiver, and control over two TiVo media devices in the same room with the flick of a switch.

It's nice to know I can buy an extra remote for my TiVo, and although I don't feel the immediate need to go buy one, I will if the original remote stops working. At $49.95 I think it's a fair price too.
