Meet Wii's Dark Side -- New Black Nintendo Wii Available to Pre-order Online Now

When it comes to gaming consoles, the Nintendo Wii has certainly been a big hit, being one of the best selling consoles since it's release in September 2006. But with news of a black Wii version coming soon, I'm left in the dark, with no change to hardware or software, just a change to how the Wii looks.

I've been sitting on the fence to buy a Wii for a long time, but I have to say Nintendo's new release from white to black, hasn't driven me out to go out and buy one, for two main reasons.

The first is that there is no change in hardware, I'd like to see the Nintendo capable of HD graphics, and also a hard drive storage ability. The second reason is that most of the third party controllers and accessories out now, are mainly white. It won't take long for newer colours and shades of Wii accessories to be available, but not right now.

There isn't much I can say about the new black Nintendo Wii, except that it's, well Black. But it is good to see Nintendo create a new choice for Wii shoppers to match their own personal style.
