Budget Brand Unveils 40 inch Full HD LCD TV

Last week Soniq, a budget brand manufacturer for large screen LCD TVs, turned heads with the announcement of a new 40 inch Full HD LCD TV for an RRP under $800.

We've watched the prices of LCD TVs drop over the last year, and Soniq have always been very competitive, with low prices. In an article published about the budget LCD TV release at Current.com.au, Dominic Neo the business development manager at Soniq Australia said, the new addition to the Soniq line offer consumers a full high definition TV at a substantially lower price than the competition.

Soniq isn't wrong either, I've run a quick check for full HD 40 inch screens online at JB Hi-Fi, and the difference in price is massive. A Sony KDL40EX500 Bravia is selling for $1,396, a Samsung UA40B6000VF 40 inch Full HD LED-LCD TV $2,098, and Toshiba 40CV550 40 inch Full HD LCD TV for $991, just to name a few of the popular brands.

The QSL400XT 40 inch LCD screen features a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD 1080p), a contrast ratio of 3000:1, 8-millisecond response time, built-in HD tuner, and 3 HDMI ports, full one year warranty, and when it's priced under $800 it's a remarkable LCD TV.

With technology getting more affordable for everyone, competition will no doubt get fierce. If you're shopping for a new LCD screen TV, now is the time to shop for one. You can buy the new 40 inch LCD TVs from Soniq exclusively through JB Hi-Fi online for $798.
