1Password iPad App Coming Soon

I use 1Password to manage over 130 passwords on my Mac mini and iPhone, and I'm planning to buy an iPad as soon as it's released, so it makes me very happy to hear that there's going to be a new version of 1Password for the iPad.

There are over 140,000 apps in the iTunes app store, and almost all of these apps -- that already run on the iPhone and iPod Touch -- will run on the iPad. However, many developers, like Agile Web Solutions, are now designing new versions of their apps specifically for the iPad.

The design mockups for the initial version of 1Password for iPad look great. The new 1Password iPad app will take full advantage of the larger screen, a 9.7 inch LED-backlit glossy widescreen multi-touch display.

For me, 1Password is an essential application, and the best solution I know of for managing hundreds of logins on my Mac and iPhone, and on my new iPad very soon!
