I Still Can't Find What I'm Looking For

An online store without a search engine is like a bicycle without any wheels, completely useless!

If you can't find the products then how on earth are you going to buy them! Sure, you can browse around the departments and categories, but if you know what you're looking for that's not terribly efficient.

At Online Shopping Australia we spend a lot of time looking at online stores, and it always amazes us when we come across another site not offering their customers a search option.

There really is no excuse especially when there are free search engines available that are incredibly easy to implement.

If you find an online store without a search engine I strongly encourage you to send an email to the merchant, telling them how much easier it would be to find and buy stuff if they had one. Include a link to Google Custom Search and tell them it's free! (You can use our 'Send To A Friend' button below if you like and just send them this whole post)

Another gripe of mine is a site that does have a search engine but it's hidden halfway down the page where nobody sees it! If you find one like that tell them to move it to the top of the page where everyone can see it.
