Smart Technology, Brilliant Results - Oral-B Triumph 9500 Electric Rechargeable Toothbrush
There's no doubt about it, the Oral-B Triumph is a fantastic electric toothbrush.
It's only just been advertised on TV recently but I've been using the Oral-B Triumph power toothbrush for over 6 months now. The Triumph is one smart rechargeable toothbrush; it even tells you when to change the brushhead!
The Triumph is a bit heavier than my last electric toothbrush but I don't even notice because the weight is distributed so well. It's got a nice ergonomic design so brushing your teeth for the recommend 2 mins is very comfortable. You don't need to worry about brushing too hard with this toothbrush because it has a built in pressure sensor to help protect your gums from excessive brushing!
Recharging is easy, you just stand the Triumph in the base station; a full charge takes about 12 hours. The SmartDisplay will show you when the battery is getting low. Oral-B say that you'll get approximately 2 weeks out of one charge but personally I recharge as soon as the first battery bar is empty. As the battery gets lower I've noticed a slight reduction in the power, so I prefer to keep mine fully charged.
There are two great features about the Triumph that I really like, the special brushheads and the different brushing modes. You get 2 brushheads in the box, the Oral-B FlossAction and ProBright. The Triumph knows which brushhead you've attached and automatically selects the default 'Clean' mode for the FlossAction or the 'Polish' mode for the ProBright. You can select 4 different modes, Clean, Soft, Massage and Polish.

Polish - Exceptional polishing and natural whitening for occasional or everyday use.
Oral-B FlossAction brushhead
The Oral-B FlossAction brushhead is recommended for everyday deep cleaning. It features MicroPulse bristles that get deep in hard-to-reach areas between your teeth, gently removing hidden plaque. The brushhead's outer bristles surround each tooth, providing exceptional overall plaque removal.
ProBright brushhead
The ProBright brushhead is for occasional or everyday polishing. It features a dentist-inspired polishing cup to remove stains from coffee, tea and tobacco for effective brightening.
Replacing these brushheads isn't cheap but when you consider the features they really are great value for money.
Tip: The Oral-B Triumph comes with the Professional Timer activated and I suggest you don't change that setting. Dentists recommend that you brush your teeth for 2 minutes and all 4 quadrants equally. The Pro Timer will give you a short stuttering signal every 30 secs so you know when to move onto the next quadrant; followed by a long stuttering sound at the 2 minute mark.
Using the Oral-B Triumph to brush my teeth each day has become a pleasurable activity and my pearly whites are now cleaner and whiter than ever ;)
