MyTickets is basically a search engine for tickets; they'll help you find tickets faster. They have event listings for all major ticketing websites and for all types of events like live music & bands, sport, theatre & musicals and tourist attractions.

Searching is easy, you've got 3 fields to enter the 'what', 'where' & 'when' of your event. They've also got a very handy auto complete dropdown list which you can use to complete your search text.

For example let's say you want to find out if the 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' are playing in Brisbane sometime next year, just type in your keywords like this:

I tried this search and I wasn't surprised to get a ' At the moment we don't have any events that match your search criteria' message! MyTickets do give you some very helpful options below the search results though. Firstly you can choose to 'Create an Alert' and you'll be notified by SMS or email when there is a matching event. I really like the second option though where I can 'Request Red Hot Chili Peppers in Brisbane'. Sounds like a bit of long shot but you never though, if enough people wanted the Chili Peppers in Brisbane next year it might just happen ;) Just in case you're wondering the most requested artist is Eminem.
