Telstra Gets a Slap On The Wrist
It looks like Telstra doesn't have Next G "coverage everywhere you need it" after all.
The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission brought proceedings against Telstra in September; today the federal court found that Telstra misled consumers about the Next G network coverage. In fact it looks like Next G coverage may not be any better than CDMA coverage!
Are we surprised that a big corporate company claimed something that wasn't quite true, I don't think so.
