New Dyson Motorhead DC16 - The Portable Handheld Vacuum Cleaner That Doesn't Lose Suction

Dyson DC16 - The only handheld that doesn't lose suction

The new DC16 Motorhead handheld from Dyson looks like some sort of space age blaster gun, but instead of shooting laser beams it sucks stuff up!

The 'Motorhead' part of the DC16 is the new addition; the standard Radix 6 model has been around for a little while now.

The motorised head adds another 200g to the weight of the DC16 (1.7kg compared to the Radix 6 at 1.5kg) but you get the extra power to remove pet hair or lint from upholstery and stairs. Even at 1.7kg the DC16 is still lightweight and ergonomic, with balanced weight distribution for easy handling.

Apart from the edition of the motorised head both models have the same features. The DC16 can recharge in 3 hours and gives you 6 minutes of full power. When Dyson is compared to other handheld vacuum cleaners it recharges 3 times as fast and has twice the suction. Like all other Dyson vacuum cleaners the DC16 doesn't lose suction, you get constant powerful suction spot clean after spot clean with Radix Cyclone technology.

The DC16 is hygienic and quick to empty; there's no need to touch the dust, just push a button and empty straight into your bin.

This is also a very tough and durable handheld vacuum cleaner, during testing every component of the DC16 was dropped and bashed using Dyson endurance rigs to ensure the utmost durability.
