Nokia N800 Internet Tablet

The new N800 from Nokia certainly looks nice but I have one major problem with the device, it doesn't have a phone!

Does anyone remember the LifeDrive from Palm? Exactly, it didn't have a phone either and disappeared into oblivion.

The N800 can connect via Bluetooth to a mobile phone but I'm sorry Nokia, nobody wants two portable mobile devices anymore! If you've ever tried to connect two Bluetooth devices together and access the Internet you'll know that it's a right pain in the bum! Hey, if the idea of connecting multiple devices together via Bluetooth really floats your boat you can also go for the Nokia SU-8W wireless keyboard. Can you imagine trying to send an SMS using three wireless Bluetooth devices? No, neither can I, sounds more like nightmare to me.

If you're looking for a really useful portable device, try a 3G PDA Phone from O2 or HTC.
